Summary of Job: The Cobot CNC Plastic Rotor Operator will be responsible for setting up, load, inspecting and debur machined precision parts that meet quality standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Operate up to 3 Cobot CNC Plastic Rotor machines
· Load the 64 pc Cobot tables with new rotor molds
· Verify / inspect parts for accuracy according to blueprints.
· Prepare and load multiple rows of up to 3 Cobot machines
· When inspecting, remove or debur parts.
· Identify product defects and work with QC team.
· Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures and company policies.
· Maintain a professional, clean and safe work area.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
· CNC machining experience required.
· Able to use measuring equipment such as Calipers, Micrometers, Indicators, etc.
· Able to read and interpret charts, drawings and blueprints.
· Knowledge of safety procedures relating to operating machinery and handling materials.
· Must be able to follow directions and perform work accurately and thoroughly.
· Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem.
· Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy.
· Communicate with supervisor and between shifts.
· High School Diploma, or GED.
Physical Job Requirements and Work Environment
· Ability to lift or move up to 40 pounds. Use mechanical lift if weight exceeds 40 pounds.
· Machine shop.
· Use of hearing protection, eye protection and safety shoes required. Hearing and eye protection provided. Safety shoes and prescription safety eyewear covered by reimbursement program.
