Description

WITF is seeking an experienced Videographer / Video Editor to join our team. This role is responsible for producing high-quality video content for broadcast, digital platforms, and original productions. The ideal candidate is a creative storyteller who can help oversee the production process—from lighting, audio, and filming to editing and final delivery.


This position requires someone who is comfortable working on a variety of projects, including 30-second promotional spots, client messaging, social media videos, and long-form documentary productions. Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines are essential.


 

Key Responsibilities

  • Shoot and edit video content for promotional campaigns and station programming
     
  • Edit weekly promotional spots and ensure accuracy against programming schedules
     
  • Produce and edit client spots and work alongside programming staff to ensure FCC compliance
     
  • Export and deliver approved video content to broadcast servers
     
  • Serve as videographer and field producer for original productions
     
  • Edit both short-form and long-form video projects
     
  • Collaborate with Marketing to produce and share video and photo content
     
  • Set up and tear down studio equipment for productions
     
  • Support internal and client video production projects
     
  • Research and recommend new video production equipment
     
  • Maintain communication with internal teams regarding project updates
     
  • Willingness to work with students in elementary through high school on educational video projects, when required
     
  • Meet recurring weekly production deadlines
Requirements


  • Associate degree (or equivalent experience) in video production, media, communications, or a related field
     
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in videography or video editing
     
  • Knowledge of common video production techniques and workflows
     
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating with a creative team
     
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
     

Technical Skills

  • Non-linear video editing experience
     
  • Familiarity with Final Cut Pro or similar editing software
     
  • Experience with Adobe Audition
     
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
     
  • Experience with Panasonic GH series cameras or similar is a plus
     
  • FAA Certified Drone Pilot certification is a plus

Work Environment
