The Warehouse Associate plays a critical role in the heartbeat of our local branch operations. This position works closely with the Operations Manager and local Installation teams to ensure that every project starts with the right materials, staged accurately and safely. Success in this role means our inventory is 100% accounted for, flooring and tile materials are staged on time for morning pull-outs, and the warehouse remains a clean, accident-free environment that supports our rapid growth.
Pay Range: $18/hr
Business Hours: Monday–Saturday, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (with occasional overtime based on business needs).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure all incoming materials are received, inspected, and verified against purchase orders to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Maintain warehouse organization and staging processes so that materials are prepared accurately and on time for scheduled installations and deliveries.
- Coordinate with Operations and Installation teams to support daily pull-outs and ensure projects are equipped with the correct materials.
- Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies, damages, or shortages to leadership in a timely manner to prevent job delays.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and in accordance with company safety policies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse environment that supports operational efficiency and safety standards.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks to ensure materials are handled safely and efficiently.
- Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying process inefficiencies and recommending solutions to improve workflow and accuracy.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ year of warehouse, distribution, or material handling experience required.
- Experience operating warehouse equipment safely (forklift experience required if the role involves equipment operation).
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
- Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout the warehouse for extended periods.
- Basic math skills sufficient to accurately verify counts, quantities, and product labeling.
- Reliable transportation to and from the work location.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in flooring, cabinetry, or building materials distribution.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems or handheld scanning devices.
- Forklift certification.
- Experience working in a high-volume warehouse environment.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Stationary Position: Ability to remain in a stationary position (standing) for up to 75–100% of the workday.
• Mobility: Frequently moves throughout the warehouse to retrieve, stage, and organize materials and equipment.
• Lifting/Carrying: Frequently lifts, carries, pushes, and/or pulls materials weighing up to 50–75 pounds.
• Positioning: Regularly required to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and climb while loading, unloading, and organizing materials.
• Manual Dexterity: Frequently operates warehouse equipment and tools, including pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), scanners, and other material-handling equipment.
• Communication: Ability to effectively communicate with team members and drivers in a busy warehouse environment.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment characteristics described below are representative of those encountered while performing the essential functions of this position.
• Warehouse/Facility: Exposure to non-climate-controlled environments (heat and cold), moving mechanical parts, vibration, dust, and elevated noise levels.
