A Healthcare Documentation Quality Controller is responsible for reviewing 130–170 minutes of clinical documentation per work shift, ensuring adherence to established file processing rates and consistently meeting all client expectations for turnaround time and quality. This role requires exceptional accuracy, strong analytical skills, and meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to maintain consistency in both medical content and language standards across all report types. A minimum of 10 years of experience reviewing documentation across multiple medical specialties is required.

The ideal candidate is a highly skilled professional with extensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and English grammar. They are accountable for identifying and correcting errors, evaluating overall document quality, ensuring clarity, completeness, and accuracy of medical records, and contributing to the continuous improvement of healthcare documentation practices.

Furthermore, the Healthcare Documentation Quality Controller must strictly comply with HIPAA standards and all applicable privacy and security regulations. This includes safeguarding patient health information, following secure data-handling protocols, and ensuring full adherence to organizational and regulatory requirements related to the protection of sensitive medical data.
