We're looking for a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). In this role, you'll provide person-centered nursing care, promote health and safety, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to improve the lives of those we serve.


Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing assessments and ongoing health monitoring.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Coordinate care with physicians, pharmacies, families, and other providers.
  • Train and support direct care staff on health-related needs.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and medication records.
  • Respond to medical concerns and emergencies as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and company policies.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and interdisciplinary team meetings.
  • Provide on-call telephone triage support on a rotating basis, as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Current Indiana RN or LPN license in good standing.
  • Experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is preferred but not required.
  • Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.

Requirements

Physical Requirements


• Sitting is 60% of work time.

• Standing and walking is 20% of work time.

• Bending, pushing, pulling, stooping, reaching, and kneeling is 20% of work time.

• Grasping and finger/hand manipulation is 50% of work time.

• Ability to lift to 50 pounds.

• Ability to operate computer, facsimile, copier, shredder and calculator.

• An office setting, minimal background noise, standard office lighting, occasional temperature fluctuations are found in the work environment.

• Normal business hours with flexibility to work overtime or non-standard hours as required by special projects. Travel

• Travel within assigned region, occasional travel outside of region.

Salary Description
$60,000-$74,000
