Summary

This is a part time role to prepare meals and maintain & manage the food operations for the residence of Consecrated Women of Regnum Christi. The person will work 20 hours a week, Monday – Friday from 8 am-12 pm. The role is onsite at the residence house.


Responsibilities

· Prepare breakfast and lunch each day of the work week for the residence of approximately 25 people. Prepare meals to be left in refrigerator for dinner.

· Create and gain approval for menus for five (5) days per week, based on available vendor (Costco) food options.

· Purchase food/groceries every week within a set budget.

· Maintain stock in pantry, refrigerator, and freezer.

· General upkeep and cleanliness of kitchen area, pantry, counters, strove, stovetop, walk in fridge and dining room. Clean and leave the kitchen ready for the next service/day. 

· Perform weekly basic cleaning of kitchen and service areas, including tables and floors.


Requirements

Experience and Skills

· Reliable and Punctual

· Awareness of good, basic nutrition practices

· Experience with menu creation

· Moderate cooking skills and background. Able to effectively follow a recipe

· Approachable and with has a friendly demeanor 

· Good verbal communication skills
