ABOUT THIS JOB:
The Operations Assistant Intern reports to the Chief Operations Officer and works toward ensuring a smooth business environment with the focus of optimal performance. This position requires the identification of operational risks and opportunity and providing solutions for the same together with the help of relevant departments. As the position involves collaboration with different departments to increase overall work performance, strong attention to detail and exceptional business acumen is needed.

Must have proper documentation for employment in the United States

High School diploma or equivalent preferred
REQUIREMENTS KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Must be able to work in a standing position for 6+ hours a day.
- Development (Python, CSS, Java)
- Knowledge of and experience with Supply Chain
- Experience Automation
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds.
- Preferred ability to operate a forklift.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with team members at all levels.
- Must have great attention to detail, even with repetitive processes.
- Must be able to follow instructions, both written and verbal.
- Must be able to work under deadlines and quotas.

SCHEDULE:
- Monday to Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm - In Office
WORK SPACE INFO:
This job operates in a warehouse environment which requires standing, moving, lifting, and operating machinery and computers. Personal Protection Equipment may be required. Safety training is mandatory and employees must be able to pass basic safety requirements.
TRAINING:
Training for this position will be completed by the department manager. Training will consist of education on key processes, preparation and staging requirements by customer, location of tools, supplies and materials. You will be trained on how to use the order interface, how to properly read orders and where to look for notes. Additional training will be completed as processes evolve or as required.
SAFETY:

Each incumbent is responsible for completing all training requirements and fulfilling self-aid/buddy-aid responsibilities, participating in emergency response tasks as requested, and serving on safety committees and teams as requested.
