The Banquet Server is responsible for providing outstanding food and beverage service during events, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining the highest level of hospitality and professionalism. This role involves close coordination with the Banquet Captain and event operations team to execute seamless functions according to Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).


Responsibilities 

  • Deliver prompt, professional, and courteous service to all guests during events
  • Review and understand all BEOs and attend pre-event briefings to ensure awareness of special requirements or guest needs
  • Verify event setup and presentation meet standards and guest expectations
  • Communicate guest feedback, needs, or concerns promptly to the Banquet Captain
  • Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization in service areas and event spaces at all times
  • Handle tableware and service equipment with care to minimize breakage and ensure cleanliness
  • Ensure all banquet equipment is in working condition and report any issues promptly
  • Assist with setup and breakdown of banquet spaces, including linens, furniture, décor, and service items
  • Adhere to all safety and sanitation procedures in compliance with company policies
  • Support a team-oriented environment with a focus on guest satisfaction and collaboration

  • Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • TABC Certification
