Terrazzo & Marble Supply is looking for a Customer Service Representative for our Resinous Division. This full-time, permanent role is responsible for providing customers with courteous service, in person or over the phone, and for retaining existing customers and developing new business by delivering professional, efficient service. Is the main contact for prompt job quotes for the sales team and customers.


Responsibilities:
  

  • Answers phone calls, takes customer orders, and coordinates pickups and shipments between customers and the warehouse.
  • Provides timely resolution of customer complaints, concerns, and inquiries.
  • Builds effective relationships and trust with customers and potential customers by listening to their needs and informing them about the products and services best suited to their situation.
  • Responds effectively to customers' inquiries.
  • Regularly prepares quotes, reports, and correspondence.
  • Performs product demonstrations when needed.
  • Cold calling on potential leads.
  • Overnight travel may be required to attend conferences, trade shows, or company events.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

  • Pay: $58,000 to $60,000, depending on industry experience; potential to earn a yearly bonus based on company and individual performance. 
Requirements

What you will need to get the job done:

  

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months of related experience.
  • Strong customer service background, preferably in the construction and/or flooring industry.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds.
  • Proficient in order processing systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong mathematical skills are needed to effectively develop quotes for customers.
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards.
  • Ability to work with demanding or impatient customers is required.
  • Strong organizational skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.

Salary Description
$58,000 to $60,000
