Description

The Social Media Content Creator is responsible for creating social media content and strategies, researching trending topics and writing content for all brands of SPSV Entertainment, LLC. They will plan, create and analyze digital content that attracts new and returning guests while reinforcing each of our brands in a clear and compelling way. 


The Social Media Content Creator will work alongside our marketing team and report to the Marketing Supervisor. This position is Full-Time (onsite) and requires availability on weekends and holidays. The standard work schedule is Wednesday – Sunday, 8:30AM-5:00pm, but may vary depending on park hours, campaigns, and park event schedules.


Responsibilities:

  • Will assist and maintain an appropriate tone in the teams writing, making sure it adheres to the company's style guide. Will check for errors in grammar, punctuation and style.
  • Create content for social media platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and Pinterest.
  • Conduct research to enhance the marketing content. This may also include identifying new trends, relevant topics, fact-checking and analyzing sources to generate information.
  • Ensure that messages are supportive of and consistent with marketing strategies and brand voice.
  • Participate in conceptual brainstorming with the marketing team to solve marketing problems, generate new ideas and improve creative quality.
  • Recommend and assist with visits for media/PR guests and influencers to promote events throughout the year.
  • Respond to guest questions and comments on social media to support positive engagement and customer service.
  • Uncover compelling and appropriate user-generated content to share on our pages.
  • Provide responses and solutions to guest feedback on Facebook, Google Reviews, Yelp and TripAdvisor.
  • Work in conjunction with the events department to promote current and upcoming events.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Marketing Supervisor and General Management Team.
Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience creating and managing social media for a brand, organization, or business.
  • Experience creating and editing short-form video content (e.g., Reels, TikTok) using professional or mobile editing tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in English, communications, marketing or a related field preferred, but not required.
  • Have a strong background in customer service, marketing, or sales.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent inter-personal and communication skills.
  • Must display good, unbiased judgement at all times.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Mountain bike industry experience or knowledge preferred. 
  • Must perform duties in an ever-changing environment.


Schedule Requirements:

  • Must be able to work full-time on-site; this position does not offer a remote work option.
  • Occasional evening and/or early morning availability based on upcoming event/marketing needs.
  • Weekend and holiday availability required (company closed Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day).

Salary Description
$19-$21/Hour
