Position Summary

As the Technical Support & Parts Documentation Specialist, your primary responsibility is to ensure that our customers and dealers have the precise technical information and parts data they need to keep their tree care and vegetation management equipment operational. You will bridge the gap between Engineering and the End-User, transforming complex Bill of Materials (BOM) into user-friendly parts catalogs/service documentation, and maintaining our digital commerce infrastructure (Prinoth WebShop).

Key Responsibilities

1. Technical Documentation & Parts Cataloging

  • Create & Update Manuals: Author and maintain illustrated parts catalogs, service manuals, and technical service bulletins (TSBs) for mechanical trimmers and carriers.
  • BOM Translation: Analyze Engineering Bill of Materials (BOM) and collaborate with other departments to identify service-significant parts, wear items, and recommended spare parts kits.
  • Engineering Collaboration: Interface directly with the Engineering team to document product changes, ensuring that documentation stays in sync with "as-built" configurations.

2. Customer Service WebShop Management

  • Portal Administration: Act as the primary administrator for the Customer Service WebShop. Upload new parts, update/audit pricing (already populated/automated from SAP), and manage user access for dealers and key accounts.
  • Content Accuracy: Ensure high-quality imagery, technical drawings, are accurately reflected in the portal to prevent ordering errors.
  • Feedback: Gather feedback from customers to suggest improvements to the WebShop’s searchability and ease of use.

3. SAP & Data Administration

  • Master Data Management: Use SAP to verify part numbers, check inventory availability, and ensure that the parts database aligns with global manufacturing standards. Reliable maintenance of the S-BOM in SAP, including coordination with Design Engineering and After Sales / Parts Sales
  • Order Support: Assist the customer service team in identifying "hard-to-find" parts within SAP for legacy equipment models.

4. Customer & Dealer Collaboration

  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively reach out to high-volume users to ensure their digital documentation needs are being met and to identify gaps in our current service literature.
