We’re looking for a passionate and dynamic clinician to join our outpatient team and lead meaningful group experiences that support clients on their recovery journey. As an Outpatient Group Clinician, you’ll facilitate engaging, clinically sound group sessions that support clients in Intensive Outpatient (IOP) and Outpatient (OP) levels of care. You’ll play a key role in creating a safe, supportive, and transformative space where clients can explore recovery through a whole-person approach—mind, body, and spirit.
Schedule:
Per Diem
Weekday Evening Availability of Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday: 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm is required
Your Role:
- Lead engaging IOP and OP group therapy sessions using evidence-based and holistic approaches
- Create a supportive and inclusive group environment that fosters connection and growth
- Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality, coordinated care
- Respond to clinical needs in real time, including crisis intervention when necessary
- Support drug and alcohol screening processes as needed
- Complete timely, accurate clinical documentation in the electronic medical record
- Participate in supervision, team meetings, and ongoing professional development
Qualifications:
- Graduate Degree in Mental Health Counseling, Marriage/Family Therapy, Social Work, Psychology, or related field required.
- Holds and maintains independent licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of New Jersey, preferred.
- Holds and maintains associate licensure as an LSW, LAC, or MFT-A in the state of New Jersey, required.
- Previous experience facilitating group therapy, required.
- Previous experience working in an outpatient setting, preferred.

Compensation:
Rates vary based on the nature of the work performed (clinical vs. non-clinical responsibilities), as well as experience and credentials. Actual pay is determined based on job-related factors including skills, education, training, credentials, experience, scope and complexity of role responsibilities, geographic location, performance, and working conditions. This is not a fee-for-service position.
- Non-clinical hours: $33.00 – $55.00 per hour
- Clinical hours: $65.00 – $80.00 per hour
