At Values Into Action, we believe great support starts with real relationships. We are currently seeking a Support Partner (Direct Support Professional) to join a small, intentional team supporting someone who is warm, funny, and deeply values routine, connection, and creativity.

This is a great role for someone who enjoys music, humor, and meaningful one-to-one support, and who wants to help someone continue growing toward more independent living—at their own pace.

Location: Media, PA

Schedule: Monday through Friday - SPLIT SHIFT

7:30–9:00 AM

3:00–5:00 PM

Who You’ll Be Supporting

You’ll be working alongside someone who:

  • Is very loving, caring, and fun to be around
  • Loves music, animated movies, and telling logic jokes
  • Enjoys eating out and being active in the community

What Support Looks Like

  • Transporting to and from a day program as needed
  • Accompanying afternoon activities (YMCA, library, walks, window shopping, music class)
  • Encouraging verbal communication and using verbal prompts at home and in the community
  • Assisting with personal care, including bathing, toileting, and some dressing
  • Supporting independent living skill development
  • Helping maintain daily routines and providing reassurance during transitions
  • Supporting connection with family and friends
  • Assisting with basic technology use

Requirements

 

  • A high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year experience supporting people to live in the community
  • 18 years of age or older
  • valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • access to a registered, insured, and inspected vehicle for use during work hours
Salary Description
$19/hour
