Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist – Civil Engineering
We’re seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner to lead full-cycle recruiting for critical roles across civil engineering, infrastructure, and the broader AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) space. In this role, you’ll partner closely with hiring managers and firm leadership to align talent strategies with business goals, translating technical requirements into targeted recruiting approaches. You’ll play a key role in strengthening our presence in competitive AEC talent markets, leveraging market insights, recruiting data, and modern sourcing tools to attract top civil engineering and construction talent.

What You’ll Do as a Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist
- Lead full-cycle recruiting for civil engineering and AEC roles, from proactive sourcing and candidate engagement through offer negotiation and hire
- Partner with hiring managers and leadership to define hiring needs, align talent strategies with business goals, and prioritize critical roles
- Develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies to attract, engage, and convert passive technical talent into high-quality hires
- Leverage LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS/CRM systems, and advanced Boolean search techniques to build and manage strong candidate pipelines
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with engineering talent communities to support ongoing and future hiring needs
- Evaluate candidates and present top talent recommendations, ensuring alignment with technical requirements and organizational fit
- Use market insights, talent mapping, and recruiting data to inform hiring strategies and improve overall recruiting performance
- Enhance employer brand and candidate experience through consistent, high-touch engagement
- Drive process improvements, optimize recruiting tools and workflows, and implement best practices to increase efficiency and hiring effectiveness
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and HR teams on recruiting initiatives, mentorship, and continuous improvement efforts
What You Bring, Your Expertise as a Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience); SHRM-CP, PHR, or Talent Acquisition certifications a plus
- 7–10+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a strong focus on technical or engineering roles (AEC experience preferred)
- Proven expertise in sourcing and engaging passive talent using innovative, data-driven strategies and advanced tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, ATS/CRM systems)
- Demonstrated success building and maintaining high-quality, diverse talent pipelines and delivering strong hiring outcomes
- Ability to translate complex technical requirements into effective recruiting strategies aligned with business goals
- Strong analytical mindset with experience using market insights, talent data, and recruiting metrics to improve performance
- Skilled in candidate evaluation, stakeholder management, and offer negotiation, with a track record of influencing hiring decisions
- Experience improving recruiting processes, systems, and workflows to drive efficiency and scalability
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with employer branding, talent market research, and mentoring team members; agency and in-house recruiting background preferred

Salary Range $110,000-$135,000
