The Supply Chain / ERP Data Integrity Intern will support a critical data-cleanup and process-improvement initiative focused on ABEC’s Syteline ERP system. This internship offers hands-on experience working with purchasing, logistics, supply chain, and cross-functional internal customers to improve item master accuracy, standardize part numbers, and strengthen data used for planning, pricing, and lead-time performance.


The intern will play an active role in interviewing stakeholders, analyzing ERP data, updating system records, and improving process documentation. This role is ideal for a student interested in supply chain, operations, data analysis, or ERP systems.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze item master data within the Syteline ERP system to identify data integrity issues
  • Assist in standardizing part numbers and identifying duplicate or obsolete inventory items
  • Support the review and cleanup of purchased parts, including lead times, pricing, and supplier data
  • Collaborate with Buyers, Logistics Coordinators, Supply Chain Management, Quality, Operations, Finance, and Project teams to gather accurate information
  • Participate in interviews with key stakeholders to understand current processes and identify gaps
  • Help update item status for parts no longer required and recommend inactivation where appropriate
  • Assist in updating purchasing and supply chain process documentation and standard operating procedures
  • Work with other Supply Chain interns to coordinate workload and project milestones
  • Present findings, progress updates, and recommendations to project leadership

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business, Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; ERP experience a plus but not required
  • Interest in manufacturing, supply chain operations, and data-driven improvement

Additional Information

  • This internship will involve access to ERP systems and internal documentation
  • Training and supervision will be provided by Supply Chain leadership
  • Intern will be expected to meet project milestones and document findings throughout the internship
  • Position is based onsite in Bethlehem, PA
