Description

Douglas J is a leader in beauty education, with a legacy spanning more than 55 years. We are more than a school—we are a community dedicated to developing future beauty professionals, providing exceptional education, and making a positive impact in the communities we serve.

Are you an experienced Esthetician who is passionate about skincare, beauty, and helping others succeed? Do you enjoy sharing your knowledge and watching others grow?

Douglas J is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Esthiology Educator to inspire, educate, and mentor our daytime and evening students as they prepare to begin their careers in the beauty industry.

You don’t have to be a licensed educator to apply. For the right candidate, Douglas J provides paid training and guidance to help you meet the state requirements to become a licensed instructor.

What You’ll Do

  • Teach assigned esthiology classes under the guidance of the Education Coach and Program Team Lead
  • Educate students on skincare theory, treatments, techniques, products, and professional practices
  • Create an engaging, supportive learning environment that encourages students to build confidence and reach their potential
  • Demonstrate proper sanitation, safety, and infection-control practices
  • Monitor and oversee student sanitation throughout the school day
  • Evaluate and return student work in a timely manner
  • Maintain current knowledge of esthetics, skincare trends, products, techniques, and industry standards
  • Maintain professional conduct and uphold the ethical standards of the beauty industry
  • Manage classroom activities while maintaining a positive and professional learning environment
  • Ensure students follow school policies, procedures, and applicable state regulations
  • Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to help students develop both technical and professional skills
  • Serve as a positive role model and mentor for students entering the beauty industry

Why Join Douglas J?

This is an opportunity to take the experience you’ve gained in the treatment room and use it to shape the future of the beauty industry.

At Douglas J, you’ll have the opportunity to grow professionally, continue developing your own industry knowledge, and make a lasting impact by helping aspiring estheticians build the skills and confidence they need for successful careers.
