Receptionist
Description

Operates multiline telephone system to answer incoming calls and directs callers to appropriate personnel and performs other administrative tasks as needed. Greet in-person customers with exceptional customer service and introduce AHP culture with every exchange.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Answers incoming telephone calls on a multiline switchboard, determines purpose of callers, and forwards calls to appropriate personnel or department. 
  • Answers questions about organization and provides callers with address, directions, and other information.
  • Welcomes on-site visitors, determines nature of business, and announces visitors to appropriate personnel.
  • Opens, receives, sorts, and routes mail within the corporate office to branch locations.
  • General lobby, kitchen, and breakroom upkeep including but not limited to unloading/loading dishes daily, checking refrigerator for spoiled food,  keeping adequate supplies for breakroom stocked, etc.
  • Orders, receives, and maintains office supplies. Checks supplies in the stockroom and break room on a regular basis.
  • Assist the Executive Assistant and management team members with special projects as needed.

Education and Experience:

  • Qualifications- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Education and/or Experience- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  


Physical Requirements: 

  • While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
