Job Summary: A person in this position performs administrative and office support activities in support of SARC’s Risk Assessment/Standards Compliance Department.


Essential Job Functions:

  • Reviews daily special incident reportable/non-reportable SIRs for processing.
  • Corresponds with service coordination to ensure SIRs are entered into SANDIS and any additional information requested is obtained for processing.
  • Electronically submits reportable SIRs to DDS.
  • Performs administrative duties, such as preparation of correspondence, statistical surveys and reports, utilizing various computer programs.
  • Develops, when appropriate and under direction of designated supervisor, forms, practice tools and resources that supports staff in their daily functions.
  • Completes all forms, reports, and types of documentation according to agency standards and directs paperwork to appropriate service and administrative units in a timely manner.
  • Maintains respectful and clear communication with supervisor. Accepts guidance, constructive advice and supervision. Seeks clarification or support as needed.
  • Participates in education and training as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements


Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3 years of related office experience.
  • Ability to operate office equipment and use Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
  • Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with others.
  • Ability to spell and punctuate correctly, use good English, and make simple arithmetical computations.
  • Extensive software skills, Internet research abilities and strong communication skills are required.
