Meeting Street is currently looking for a Parent Educator (Bilingual English/Spanish) to work 40 hours per week.
Duties:
- Conduct home visits to parents and caregivers, providing personalized, culturally sensitive parenting education that supports child development from birth to age 5.
- Complete all child and family screenings required for the program.
- Educate parents on child development milestones, positive parenting strategies, and early learning activities.
- Address individual family needs and challenges, offering resources and referrals to community services.
- Attends weekly reflective supervision and staff meetings.
- Be able to establish rapport with families and empower them by building on their strengths.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of family visits, progress, and outcomes in accordance with program guidelines.

Must meet ONE (1) of the following requirements:
- 3+ years’ experience as a parent raising children through ages 0-5
- 2+ years’ experience as a Parents As Teachers family participant
- 2+ years professional experience providing services to infants, toddlers and their families
- CDA or Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Human Services or related field with 1+ year professional experience providing services to infants, toddlers and their families
Required:
- Fully bilingual (read, write, speak, translate) in both English and Spanish languages
- Valid Driver’s license and ability to provide own transportation to appointments.
- Valid CPR and First Aid Training or willing to obtain upon hire.
- Be able to sit, stand and walk continuously throughout the day
- Bend, stoop, squat, push and pull (10-15% of the time)
- Kneel and reach above the shoulder level occasionally (1-33% of the time)
- Utilize the computer and other office equipment (50-75% of the time)
- Office environment, classroom environment at agency and partner agencies
- Access to confidential client records
- Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00AM - 5:00PM
