POSITION SUMMARY
PRO*ACT is looking for an Accounting Summer Intern to support our team in a fast-paced produce distribution environment. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain real-world experience in accounting operations, reporting, and month-end processes while working alongside a collaborative team.
Some of the key responsibilities include:
- Assist with accounts payable/receivable, including invoice entry and tracking
- Support data entry and maintenance of financial records
- Help with account and bank reconciliations
- Prepare spreadsheets and basic financial reports
- Assist with month-end close tasks
- Organize and maintain digital documentation
- Support audit and compliance activities
- Contribute to process improvement or data clean-up projects

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIRED:
- Interest in agriculture or the fresh produce industry
- Pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Strong communication and willingness to learn
- Proficient in Excel
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
