Position Summary:

Bodorlaser Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Generalist or HR Assistant to join our growing HR team. This role will support a wide range of HR functions across the U.S. and Canada and work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

· Administer payroll and employee benefits programs for U.S. and Canadian employees in coordination with internal teams and vendors

· Manage employee leave of absence programs, including FMLA, short-term disability, and long-term disability

· Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures

· Support recruitment efforts, including sourcing strategies, job postings, and participation in job fairs and community events

· Coordinate and facilitate onboarding processes, including new hire orientation and documentation

· Assist with the implementation and optimization of HR systems and tools

· Support the development and coordination of employee training and development programs

· Assist with employment-based immigration and visa administration

· Support with the review and update of HR policies, procedures, and internal documentation

· Partner with cross-functional teams to enhance employee engagement, retention, and overall employee experience

· Support performance management and organizational initiatives as needed

· Perform other HR-related duties as assigned

Requirements

  

Basic Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field

· Prior experience in Human Resources or a related function

· Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin Chinese (written and verbal)

· Working knowledge of U.S. (and preferably Canadian) employment laws and HR practices

· Familiarity with HR processes including benefits administration, recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations

· Experience with HRIS systems and HR tools

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to handle confidential information professionally

· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace

· Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

· Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate ambiguity

· Ability to support cross-time-zone communication with global teams (including China)

· Self-motivated, reliable, and adaptable

· Ability to occasionally lift up to 15 lbs

Preferred Qualifications: 

· 2+ years of experience in an HR role.

· PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred but not required.

Salary Description
$60,000 – $75,000
