Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse in Panama City, Florida. This is a most urgent opportunity within a progressive, financially stable hospital system for nurses with recent acute care experience.

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Med-Surg RN provides patient-centered care in an acute care hospital setting. This role includes assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of patient care while working within a collaborative interdisciplinary team environment.

SCHEDULE
• Days or nights available with rotating weekends
• 12-hour shifts

COMPENSATION
• Hourly rate $29.92 to $44.88 based on experience
• Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 days / $15,000 nights
• Night differential approximately $4.00/hr

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform patient assessments and ongoing monitoring
• Develop and implement individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Educate patients and families on care plans and follow-up
• Advocate for patient safety and quality outcomes
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records

• Must have acute care RN experience
• Acute care experience must be within the last 3 years
• If candidate has several years of RN experience, acute care experience can be within the last 5 years
• Florida RN license or compact license required
• Must obtain Florida license within 60 days if compact
• Basic Life Support required
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to work in fast-paced environment required
