The Quality Supervisor is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a robust quality management system (QMS) to ensure compliance with customer specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. This role oversees all quality assurance and control activities for engineer-to-order electrical skid manufacturing, driving continuous improvement and fostering a culture of quality throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop and maintain the QMS in alignment with ISO standards and customer requirements.
· Act as the primary liaison for all quality-related matters with customers and internal stakeholders and ensure timely resolution of concerns.
· Identify measurable Critical to Quality (CTQ) characteristics for products with Engineering and develop methods with Manufacturing to ensure processes are controlled to meet customer specifications, industry standards, and internal quality requirements.
· Qualify suppliers with Purchasing, oversee incoming material inspection, and monitor supplier quality performance.
· Conduct and support audits (internal, customer, and third-party) and drive corrective actions.
· Lead root cause analysis, develop corrective/preventive actions for nonconformities, and ensure corrective actions are implemented and sustained to reduce Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) and improve customer satisfaction.
· Maintain accurate quality records, inspection reports, and certifications in compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
· Manage calibration programs for measurement and test equipment.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field
· 5+ years in quality management within manufacturing (preferably ETO or electrical systems)
