We are seeking a full-time Senior Electrical Engineer to support the design, documentation, integration, manufacturing support, and long-term product development of the electrical systems for autonomous aerostat platforms.
This role works closely with a Principal Engineer who owns the overall electrical architecture and system-level integration. The Senior Electrical Engineer will contribute broadly across electrical system design and documentation, including schematic capture, wiring documentation, interface drawings, and controlled design packages in AutoCAD Electrical.
Over time, this role will take increasing responsibility for major power-distribution and related subsystem work, including support for higher-voltage DC applications within the platform. This role will also support manufacturing builds, field operations, troubleshooting, and ongoing product improvement based on test and operational feedback.
This is a hands-on role for an engineer who is comfortable moving between system design, detailed electrical documentation, implementation support, manufacturing issue resolution, and field troubleshooting. The ideal candidate brings practical experience in electrical power systems, DC power distribution, power electronics, industrial electrical design, mobile electrical systems, or similar applied electrical hardware development, along with strong documentation discipline and product support capability.
Role Fit
This role is best suited for a hands-on Senior Electrical Engineer who can contribute broadly across electrical system design and documentation while also supporting the realities of build, test, manufacturing, and fielded operation.
The successful candidate will not be expected to own the full aerostat electrical architecture. That responsibility remains with the Principal Engineer. This role is intended for a strong implementation-focused engineer who can help turn system architecture into practical, buildable, supportable electrical hardware and then help improve that hardware over time through manufacturing and field feedback.

- Helping convert system architecture into practical, testable hardware designs
- Supporting steady progress in subsystem development, integration, manufacturing, and troubleshooting
- Resolving build and field issues efficiently and feeding those lessons back into the design
- Strengthening the quality, manufacturability, and maturity of power-system implementation over time
- Becoming a trusted owner of major electrical design packages and selected power subsystems
- Supporting the electrical system throughout development, production support, test, and ongoing product evolution
Safety, Standards, and Compliance
