This position is located at the Embassy Suites by Hilton in Temecula CA. We are in the heart of Southern California’s beautiful Temecula Valley, known for its award-winning wineries, vibrant Old Town, and strong sense of community. Our hotel sits just minutes from shopping, dining, entertainment, and outdoor recreation, offering team members the perfect balance between work and lifestyle. Temecula provides 172 room suites that are welcoming, family-friendly environment with easy access to major freeways for easy commute.
 

Why do we need you? 

The Lounge and Banquet Server/Waitstaff plays a key role in delivering memorable guest experiences by providing attentive, efficient, and courteous service during banquet events and functions. This position supports the Food & Beverage team in executing events to brand standards while ensuring every guest feels welcome and valued.

As our banquet and event business continues to grow, especially during peak seasons—we rely on dedicated team members to help us deliver seamless, high-quality service for weddings, corporate meetings, and special events. Your role is essential in ensuring that every event runs smoothly, guests feel genuinely cared for, and our property continues to uphold the high standards associated with the Embassy Suites and Windsor Hospitality brands. With your support, we can create memorable experiences that keep our guests returning and recommending us to others.


What will you do: 

· Set up banquet and meeting spaces according to event orders, including tables, linens, glassware, and décor in alignment with brand standards 

·  Provide warm, professional, and engaging service to all guests throughout each event 

· Serve food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner, following proper service etiquette 

· Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests or concerns 

· Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet areas before, during, and after events 

· Clear and reset tables quickly and efficiently to ensure smooth event flow 

· Assist with event breakdown and proper storage of equipment and supplies 

· Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, supervisors, and fellow team members 

· Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and health regulations 

· Uphold Windsor Hospitality’s commitment to excellence and guest satisfaction

Requirements

Skills and abilities you bring: 

· Previous banquet or restaurant serving experience preferred, but not required 

· Strong interpersonal and guest service skills 

· Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment 

· Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays 

· Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs 

· Food Handler Certification required (or ability to obtain upon hire)

· Guest-focused mindset with a passion for hospitality 

· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills 

· Ability to multitask and remain composed under pressure 

· Reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance and demeanor 

· Team player with a positive attitude


Physical Demands: Medium work. Exerting up to 10 to 50 pounds of force occasionally. Requires walking or standing to a significant degree, and or requires working at a production rate pace entailing the constant pushing and or pulling of materials even though the weight of those materials is negligible. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Schedule & Hours:

This position is a Seasonal position that could potentially become Full-Time and the role follows a rotating schedule (Monday-Sunday). The ability to work any scheduled day of the week and time of day, including holidays, based on business needs is required.
