The Southern California offices of Constangy, Brooks, Smith & Prophete seeks California-licensed attorneys with 5+ years of experience for Associate and Senior Counsel roles (depending on bar year or relevant experience). The ideal candidate should be comfortable and experienced working in a fully remote or hybrid work environment. They should have experience drafting and responding to discovery and initial pleadings, drafting and arguing motions, and taking and defending depositions, primarily in state and federal court and arbitration involving claims of discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, and other related matters. Experience providing advice and counsel support to clients is preferred, but not required. Significant experience in labor and employment law is required. Excellent academic credentials, strong writing and analytical skills, and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Successful candidate will be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. We expect to consider qualified candidates within the range of $220k-$280k; however, we do make hiring decisions based on each candidate’s unique experience, as well as additional factors.
