Why This Role Matters

As a QA Analyst at Kinective, you’ll play a key role in guaranteeing our products are reliable, scalable, and ready for real-world banking environments. Partnering closely with Product and Engineering, you’ll help translate requirements into thoughtful test strategies, identify issues early, and validate complex integrations across systems.


This role goes beyond test execution—you’ll act as a quality advocate throughout the development lifecycle, driving better processes, improving automation, and helping teams deliver with confidence. Requirements


What you’ll own

Test Strategy & Planning

  • Review business and product requirements to ensure clear, testable outcomes
  • Partner with QA, Product, and Engineering to define test strategies, scenarios, and coverage
  • Identify risks early and contribute to improving QA processes and standards
  • Perform functional, UAT, Integration, End to End, Regression, Performance, Load and Ad-hoc testing.

Test Execution & Automation

  • Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results

Defect Management & Troubleshooting

  • Identify, document, and track defects in JIRA with clear reproduction steps and impact
  • Triage, prioritize, and own issues through resolution in collaboration with development teams
  • Perform root cause analysis on defects and system issues, escalating when necessary to ensure timely resolution

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

  • Work cross-functionally (and across time zones) to ensure quality throughout the SDLC
  • Maintain QA documentation, test cases, and knowledge-sharing resources
  • Continuously improve testing efficiency, automation coverage, and overall product quality

Necessary Qualifications & Competencies

Education & Work Experience

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 2+ years as a Quality Assurance tester or similar role

Other Skills & Experience

  • Experience API testing tools (Postman/Insomnia)
  • Working knowledge of SQL, APIs, and system integrations
  • Familiarity with Azure or AWS, Active Directory, and web servers
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA methodologies
  • Experience working in Agile environments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
  • Clear documentation and communication skills
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and collaborative

Nice to Have

  • Experience with root cause analysis and process improvement
  • Azure/AWS certifications
  • Some experience working with AI?assistant and AI assisted testing tools to enhance QA activities
  • Understanding of?Microservices
  • Experience with some scripting like Javascript or Powershell

Pay, Benefits & Total Rewards

$50,000 – $60,000

The salary range listed reflects the minimum and maximum for this role. Individual compensation is based on experience, qualifications, job-related skills, location, and internal equity, and most offers are not made at the top of the range.
