• The manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for process and tooling design. The position will provide direction to plant floor employees and other colleagues.
• The engineer will need to be self-motivated and a team player.
• Problem solving skills will be required to solve process, equipment, and product related issues.
• Data driven mentality and decision-making process.
• Ability to be flexible and adapt a dynamic work environment.

What You Will Do

• Create Standard Work instructions (SWI’s) for new products
• Support Automotive production by leading a cross functional team to meet production deadlines and improve processes.
• Specify and order tooling required to meet product design requirements.
• Provide feedback to design on process limitations.
• Lead cost reduction through process improvement, quality improvement, and scrap reduction.

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of experience
• Lean manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in QAD and Catia preferred.
