Mortgage Loan Officer (MLO) – Inside / Outside Sales

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Mortgage Loan Officer to join our credit union mortgage team. This hybrid role combines company-provided leads with self-generated business through referral and community relationships.

Our ideal MLO is sales consultative, relationship-driven, and passionate about delivering a member-first lending experience from application through closing.

What You’ll Do

• Convert company-provided leads and internal referrals into closed loans
• Build and maintain relationships with realtors, builders, and community partners
• Conduct mortgage consultations (phone, virtual, in-branch)
• Complete applications, disclosures, and compliant loan files
• Manage pipeline timelines and provide proactive member updates
• Participate in community marketing, and business-development events

What Success Looks Like

• Meeting or exceeding mortgage production and conversion goals
• Delivering a high-quality, consultative member experience
• Supporting   members outside normal business hours when needed

Qualifications

• Active NMLS license (required)
• 5–10 years of residential mortgage lending experience
• Minimum $6MM in outside mortgage production in the past 12 months
• Strong relationship-based sales and communication skills
