Quality Control Inspector
Description

Southern Foodservice Management, a national contact food service company, is now looking to hire a qualified Quality Control Inspector for our FLETC Artesia location in Artesia, New Mexico.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • The Quality Control inspector conducts inspections on quality control and safety plans to ensure compliance with Government contract specifications and applicable regulations
  • Inspects all phases of a variety of goods, services and operation for conformity to established quality, health and safety, and other operational standards by performing on-going work for compliance with contractual provisions
  • Ensures all services listed on the performance requirement summary are performed in a satisfactory manner
  • Completes areas assigned by QC Managers to be inspected (scheduled and unscheduled) and how often inspections will be accomplished
  • Communicates deficiencies to proper persons 
  • Maintains Quality Control files, and document results of all inspections
  • Ability to organize and conduct ongoing in-service training

Qualifications and Skills 

  • Proven work experience as a Quality Control Technician
  • Solid ability to conduct different types of inspections
  • Hands on experience with Army Food Service operations
  • Ability to organize skills assessment of operation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong decision-making skills
