Job Summary:

The Quality Assurance Technician reports to the Quality Assurance Manager to ensure successful Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and finished products meet the requirements of drawings and Feldmeier Equipment SOPs. The hours of this job are specific to the job being completed in a timely and efficient manner based off production and scheduling needs.

Essential Functions of Position:

· Ensure customer punch lists are completed 

· Ensure that all Tank shipments for domiciled location are prepped for shipment according to customer requirements

· Complete receipt inspection of raw material (sheet, plate and coil) accurately and timely

· Other duties as assigned to ensure efficient factory acceptance testing, tank shipment, and raw material receipt occur

· Complete cross training in other supply chain functions to help with vacation coverage as needed

· Comply with all Feldmeier safety and Company policies and Occupational Health and Safety Regulations. 

· Perform pre-FAT verification spray ball coverage and drainage testing prior to equipment completion

· Work with production staff and Engineering

· Perform assembly and pre-FAT inspection of equipment prior to customer arrival, preparing for upcoming shipments  

· Coordinate and execute all testing as specified in FAT protocols to ensure compliance with Codes and Standards and Feldmeier SOPs

· Provide customers with professional assistance on overall FAT experience

· Assist with closure of punch list items prior to shipping prep

· Communicate concerns to the Corporate Quality Assurance Manager and Plant Manager

Minimum Qualifications:

· Willingness to obtain and maintain a power industrial vehicle permit.

· Ability to use inventory management system. 

· 3-5 years of previous shipping and receiving experience

Preferred Qualifications:

· Previous experience with Epicor our ERP system. 

· 3-5 years of experience with Cycle counting.

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours per day.

· Occasional lifting, carrying, and maneuvering up to 50 pounds. 

· Ability to climb ladders, stairs, and platforms for elevated work.

· Walking, bending, squatting, kneeling, balancing, stooping, lie down inside or under vessel and twisting while performing required job tasks.

· Being mindful of chemical safety and use proper PPE when required. 

· Ability to handle stress and fast paces environment.
