Position Details

• Employment Type: Part-Time 
• Shift: Flexible (Days, Evenings, Weekends) 
• Department: Food & Beverage / Restaurant 

What You’ll Do

• Greet guests and provide a warm, professional first impression 
• Manage reservations and seating using a rotation system 
• Escort guests to tables and present menus 
• Monitor dining room flow and seating availability 
• Answer phones and accurately take reservations 
• Communicate wait times and accommodate special seating requests when possible 
• Coordinate with kitchen and service staff on large parties or special requests 
• Assist servers and bussers as needed during peak times 
• Maintain a clean, organized host stand and entry area 
• Observe service standards and escalate guest concerns when needed 

What We’re Looking For

• Previous host, restaurant, or customer service experience preferred, but not required 
• Strong communication and guest service skills 
• Ability to stay organized and composed in a fast-paced environment 
• Comfortable managing multiple tasks at once 
• Basic computer skills (reservation systems, Microsoft Office a plus) 
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset 

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods 
• Frequent movement throughout the dining area 
• Ability to lift up to 10 lbs occasionally 

Work Environment

• Indoor and occasional outdoor restaurant setting 
• Moderate to loud noise levels during peak service 
• High-volume, guest-focused environment
