Senior Accountant

Location: Remote

Reports To: Accounting Manager
Salary Range: $85,000–$95,000 annually  

Job Summary: 

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant with hands-on experience in corporate accounting, intercompany accounting, acquisitions, and financial reporting in a fast-paced environment to support accounting operations across our regions, helping ensure accurate financial reporting, strengthen internal controls, and streamline accounting processes across the organization.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Support accounting for acquisitions, including reviewing acquired company financial information, recording acquisition and integration activity, and      assisting with the transition of acquired entities into company accounting processes.
• Manage and reconcile intercompany balances and transactions across related entities.
• Work closely with operations during the monthly close to ensure inventory and related accounts are properly reconciled and discrepancies are identified      and resolved.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.  
• Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.  
• Prepare journal entries and perform balance sheet reconciliations.  
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, accounting standards, and regulations.  
• Support external audits and implement internal controls to safeguard assets.  
• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting workflows.  
• Assist with ad hoc reporting and special projects to enhance efficiency.  

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.  
• 5–7+ years of corporate accounting experience with proven ability to work independently and take ownership of key accounting processes. 
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting regulations.  
• Proficiency in accounting software (Real Green, Service Titan, Sage Intacct) and Excel.  
• Experience using AI tools to improve accounting processes, analysis, reporting, or workflow efficiency is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
