Description

The Nurse Practitioner will work collaboratively with physicians and clinical staff to provide high-quality, patient-centered care for individuals with ear, nose, and throat conditions. Knowledge of medical documentation standards including ICD-10, CPT coding, and HIPAA compliance is required. This role involves evaluating, diagnosing, and managing a variety of ENT-related conditions in both outpatient and procedural settings. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical history and physical examinations

· Diagnose and treat common ENT conditions such as sinusitis, allergies, ear infections, hearing issues, and throat disorders

· Order and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., imaging, labs, audiology reports)

· Develop and implement treatment plans, including prescribing medications and therapies

· Perform in-office procedures as appropriate (e.g., nasal endoscopy, cerumen removal, minor procedures)

· Provide patient education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and preventative care

· Collaborate with ENT physicians on complex cases and surgical planning

· Document patient encounters accurately and timely within the EMR system

· Participate in follow-up care and ongoing patient management

· Maintain compliance with all regulatory, safety, and infection control standards

Requirements

Education/Certification 

o Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner (e.g., FNP, AGNP)

Licensure

o Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of Ohio

o DEA license and prescriptive authority required 

Knowledge & Skills

o Previous experience in ENT, family practice, urgent care, or related specialty preferred 

o Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills 

o Excellent communication and patient interaction skills 

o Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment

Salary Description
$100,000 - $115,000
