Description
- Serve as main point of contact for HR related questions or concerns
- Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions)
- Investigate and resolve employee relations matters in a fair and consistent manner
- Field HR inbox daily to answer employee inquiries and/or forward to appropriate individual
- Coordinate full lifecycle recruitment for warehouse staff
- Manage temporary staffing needs, reconciling all timecards, invoices and generate reports as needed
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation
- Support performance review processes and documentation
- Partner with supervisors on coaching and development plans
- Facilitate new hire onboarding process
- Review and provide approval for all Midway GA timecards for bi-weekly payroll processing;
- Work closely with management and employees to improve interdepartmental relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention
- Provide HR support for OSHA, operational sustainability, and social compliance initiatives.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of HR experience, preferably in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in human resources
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office
