Admissions Coordinator responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Takes primary responsibility for the implementation of strategies of the marketing plan for Lakeview (i.e. phone calls, promotional events, tours, mailings) within budgetary guidelines, building census, and waiting list
- Generates, maintains, and follows up on leads.
- Arranges and coordinates/conducts Lakeview and Lakehouse tours and participates in assessments and evaluations for the admission of an applicant or person to whom we can provide care.
- Completes the admissions process from inquiry to resident status.
- Evaluates industry trends, market demand, and niche opportunities.
- Conducts yearly competitive analysis
Requirements
Admissions Coordinator qualifications:
- College graduate (with a degree in marketing, public relations, business, social work, or human services) preferred, or High School graduate with equivalent experience.
- Experience in marketing/sales required. Experience in marketing/admissions in a retirement community or related health care setting preferred.
- Experience working with healthcare professionals is preferred.
- Excellent public relations skills, good organizational skills, verbal and written communication skills and analytical skills required.
- Computer database development and maintenance experience/knowledge helpful.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
