Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced, self-motivated, and results-driven Regional Vice President of Sales to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth within a designated territory by cultivating and expanding advisor relationships, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, and executing strategic sales initiatives. The Regional Vice President of Sales will play a key role in increasing revenue, enhancing market presence, and delivering exceptional partner experiences across the region.

Job Responsibilities
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve regional sales targets and revenue growth objectives.
- Build, strengthen, and maintain relationships with key advisors, clients, DCIO’s, TPA’s, centers of influence, and strategic partners throughout the region.
- Maintain a disciplined approach to pipeline management, with a consistent focus on prospecting, cultivating relationships, advancing opportunities, and closing new business through planned engagement strategies.
- Identify new business opportunities by analyzing market trends, advisor needs, competitive dynamics, and industry developments.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, investment, and leadership teams to align sales strategies, enhance value propositions, and support market growth initiatives.
- Partner closely with implementation, client service, operations, and billing teams to ensure seamless onboarding experience and effective knowledge transfer for new clients.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of sales activities, pipeline status, and results through consistent and effective utilization of Salesforce.com.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the retirement plan industry, regulatory environment, and competitive landscape.
- Support client retention efforts and strategic growth initiatives by identifying opportunities to expand relationships, increase assets, and maximize revenue across the region.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus
- Retirement professional certifications preferred (AIF, CPFA, C(k)P, QKA, etc.)
- Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience in the retirement plan industry, or 5+ years professional experience with retirement plans
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities
- Ability to travel within the designated region

Compensation Information
The average salary for this position is expected to be between $75,000 and $130,000/year however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This role includes an incentive component in addition to a base salary. We do not anticipate candidates to be paid at the top of the range however, from time to time, it may occur on a case-by-case basis.
