IOP Day Treatment Psychotherapy Post Masters Fellow Postiion


**Candidates for this position must have a graduate degree or post-graduate certificate program in a clinical field (Marriage & Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, Social Work) and be working toward licensure as a mental health professional in the state of Minnesota (LMFT, LPCC, LP, LICSW). **


As part of the Aris Clinic Day Treatment Intensive Outpatient Program, our Post Masters Fellows work with children in grades 2 - 8 and their families through challenging times by offering individual, group, and family therapy to help with a wide range of concerns, including school adjustment problems, depression, anxiety, difficulty dealing with loss or family changes, abuse, traumatic events, attention problems, parent-child conflicts and acting-out behaviors. Our program incorporates psychiatry with psychotherapy to holistically treat clients in our care supporting them in gaining skills to be successful at home, in school and in the community.


As a Day Treatment Intensive Outpatient Psychotherapy Post Masters Fellow your focus will be on delivering assessment, treatment, and prevention services to children, adolescents, and their families as well as consultation with the school staff working with the student. You will have regular supervision and work to develop your clinical skills as a pre-licensed clinician. This role is a highly collaborative function, and you will experience exposure to a multidisciplinary team working in collaboration with a variety of experienced professionals to ensure the best care for the children and families in your care. Psychotherapy Post Masters Fellows will be provided with an on-site mental health professional supervisor and may also work closely with other mental health professionals in order to broaden a clinical experiences. 


Role responsibilities

Provide group, individual, and family therapy

Conduct diagnostic assessments (DA) to determine appropriate services

Collaborate with the client and / or their family on treatment plan that incorporates DA results

Monitor the IOP Milieu during arrival, throughout the day, and dismissal as scheduled 

Facilitate Milieu Therapy where needed.

Create and update treatment plans for patients

Complete case management for patients

Participate in school meetings

Provide care coordination, including collaboration with psychiatrists and other professionals working with the client

Create a discharge and aftercare plan

Timely documentation according to MN DHS CTSS standards

Adherence to Minnesota and HIPPA data privacy requirements

Maintain and IOP caseload of 2 - 8 patients

Maintain an outpatient caseload of 10 - 20 patients

60 - 80 billable encounters per month

Requirements

Completed an accredited masters, doctoral, or post-graduate certificate program in a clinical field and working toward licensure as a mental health professional in the state of Minnesota (LICSW, LMFT, LPCC, LP).
