Build, Fix, and Keep Production Moving
Are you a hands-on maintenance technician who enjoys solving complex mechanical and electrical problems? This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in keeping equipment running, troubleshooting issues quickly, and leading by example on the floor.
You’ll play a key role in maintaining and repairing industrial equipment while supporting and mentoring other technicians in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Be Working On
You’ll be hands-on with a wide range of industrial equipment and systems, including:
- Motors, gearboxes, conveyors, and drive systems
- Pumps, compressors, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems
- Electrical panels, control systems, and wiring
- Support CNC machining centers, robotic welding cells, and automated production systems
- PLC-controlled equipment and automation systems (preferred)
Tools & Technology:
- Multimeters, clamp meters, and megohm meters
- Vibration analyzers and thermography (infrared) tools
- Torque wrenches, alignment tools, and precision measuring instruments
- CMMS systems for tracking work orders and maintenance history
A Day in the Life
No two days are the same—but here’s what you can expect:
- Start your shift reviewing work orders and prioritizing equipment needs
- Troubleshoot electrical or mechanical issues on production equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance to avoid downtime
- Jump in on urgent repairs to get operations back up and running
- Work alongside operators, engineers, and other techs to solve problems
- Mentor junior technicians and help guide repairs
- Wrap up your day documenting work completed in the CMMS system
What You’ll Do
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on industrial equipment
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to improve uptime
- Lead complex repairs and support equipment installations/upgrades
- Troubleshoot motors, control systems, pumps, and production machinery
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Ensure all work follows safety standards (LOTO, OSHA, etc.)
- Support and mentor junior technicians on the team
- Document maintenance activities, parts used, and repairs completed
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience (mechanical + electrical)
- At least 1 year in a lead or senior-level role
- Strong troubleshooting skills with motors, controls, and mechanical systems
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Experience using diagnostic tools (multimeters, vibration tools, etc.)
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance and equipment reliability
- Familiarity with safety standards (LOTO, OSHA)
- Experience with CMMS systems is a plus
- PLC or automation experience is a plus
Physical & Work Environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working in industrial environments, including heights and confined spaces
- Ability to work occasional overtime or weekends if needed
