We are seeking a skilled attorney in Rhode Island to join our legal team on a contract basis. As an attorney, you will provide legal services to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation. The successful applicant will have excellent research skills and the ability to negotiate effectively. Responsibilities:

• Conduct legal research to support litigation
• Provide legal advice to clients with consumer debt
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients and opposing counsel
• Stay up-to-date with changes in relevant laws and regulations
• Collaborate and support staff to achieve case goals 

Experience:

• Must have a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Must be licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
• Proven track record of successfully negotiating contracts and agreements
• Strong analytical skills
• Experience with law office software and tools
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work

Job Type: 1099 Contract
Pay: Competitive Hourly Rate
Expected hours:  2-5 per week
Schedule: Monday to Friday
License/Certification: Rhode Island Bar (Required)
