Description
Guest Experience and Service
- Deliver exceptional, personalized customer service.
- Lead guests through engaging whiskey tasting experiences
- Educate guests on whiskey, production methods, and brand history
- Provide thoughtful recommendations and upsell products and experiences
- Handle guest concerns professionally and escalate when needed
Sales and Membership
- Drive bottle and merchandise sales
- Promote and enroll guests in the whiskey club
- Meet or exceed individual and team sales goals
Operations
- Operate POS system accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash and process transactions responsibly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the tasting room
- Support opening and closing procedures
- Assist with setup and breakdown of service areas
- Maintain knowledge of current menu offerings, specials, and promotions
Requirements
- 2-3 years of restaurant or hospitality experience (tasting room experience preferred)
- Passion for whiskey, spirits, and hospitality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Professional, positive, and team-oriented attitude
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- RBS Certification required
- California Food Handler (ServSafe) certification required
