Description
This 2-month contract role supports high-volume recruiting by conducting phone screens, documenting candidate insights, and ensuring candidates move efficiently through the hiring process. The Screener is responsible for maintaining accurate notes, clear candidate summaries, and real-time pipeline updates. This role is execution-focused and critical to keeping the recruiting process fast, organized, and aligned with client expectations.
Core Functions
- Conduct high-volume phone screens using structured scripts and defined evaluation criteria.
- Capture and document clear, detailed candidate notes during or immediately after screenings.
- Create concise, standardized candidate summaries for hiring manager review.
- Review incoming applicants and sort candidates based on predefined qualifications.
- Move candidates through the pipeline in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the ATS, ensuring no candidate is left stagnant.
- Support proactive sourcing efforts by identifying and adding qualified candidates into the pipeline.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 4+ years of recruiting experience, including high-volume recruitment for professional-level positions.
- Strong judgment in assessing candidate alignment quickly.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple candidates and priorities simultaneously.
Core Qualifications
- Experience conducting phone screens or high-volume candidate interactions.
- Strong note taking and documentation skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to assess candidates against defined criteria and follow structured processes.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple candidates simultaneously.
- Proficiency with ATS systems, LinkedIn, and basic office tools (Outlook, Teams, etc.).
- Clear, professional communication skills with candidates and internal stakeholders.
Salary Description
$28 - $30 per hour
