Description
Spatial Front, Inc. (SFI), a two-time USA Today Top Workplaces awardee and a Washington Top Workplaces honoree, is seeking a highly technical PowerApps Developer to join our team. This role supports the ongoing development and enhancement of an enterprise Power Platform application, including creating new features, reporting capabilities, and system improvements.
The ideal candidate is a self-sufficient technical expert who can operate as the sole Architect, Developer, and QA resource for the application, while working directly with stakeholders to gather and implement requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Client & Functional Support
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine requirements
- Communicate system changes, enhancements, and options clearly
- Provide user support, including guidance on application navigation and functionality
Application Development & Technical Leadership
- Design, develop, and enhance features within a PowerApps Canvas App using Dataverse
- Serve as the sole technical lead for the application
- Implement and maintain Power Automate workflows, including:
- Scheduled and triggered flows
- Power Apps-integrated and child workflows
- Utilize advanced techniques such as:
- FetchXML for Dataverse queries
- Workarounds for Power Apps delegation limits
- Maintain and extend Dataverse architecture, including:
- Tables, relationships, and schema updates
- Formula columns and optimized views
Reporting & Data Analytics
- Develop and maintain Power BI reports, including:
- DAX measures and calculated columns
- Power Query (M) transformations
- Data visualizations for reporting and analysis
Production Support & Maintenance
- Troubleshoot application and workflow issues
- Provide ad hoc reporting and respond to user inquiries
- Monitor system communications when needed
- Support automated notifications and system-generated messaging
Testing & Deployment
- Conduct QA testing in Development and Test environments
- Deploy managed solutions to Test and Production environments
Project & Backlog Management
- Manage and prioritize backlog items
- Estimate Level of Effort (LOE) for enhancements
- Review priorities with stakeholders
- Prepare and deliver monthly status reports
Requirements
- 5–7 years of relevant experience
- Strong experience with:
- Power Apps (Canvas Apps)
- Power Automate
- Dataverse
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to work independently as a solo developer and technical lead
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience gathering and documenting technical requirements
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Prior experience as a sole developer on a project
Education
- Bachelor’s degree required
Certifications (Preferred)
- Microsoft Power Platform / PowerApps certifications
Additional Information
- Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
- Clearance: Background checks may include Criminal History, Education Verification, Employment Verification, Professional Certifications, and Credit History. (Public Trust investigations typically take 4–8 weeks and require fingerprinting.)
- Location: Remote
- Salary Range: $75,000 – $115,000 annually

Salary Description
$75,000 – $115,000 annually
