We are Looking for:

Someone who is an experienced Medical Assistant for a multispecialty medical practice. The medical assistant should perform a supportive role in delivering comprehensive care to the patient that is safe, effective, and efficient.

Responsibilities:

• Room patients and obtain vital signs, medical history, and chief complaints 
• Assist providers during patient examinations and procedures 
• Perform allergy skin testing and document results accurately 
• Administer allergy injections (immunotherapy) in accordance with protocols 
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and respond appropriately 
• Prepare and maintain exam rooms, equipment, and supplies 
• Provide patient education on allergy treatments and medications 
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system 
• Follow all infection control and HIPAA guidelines
• Performs related duties as required.

• Completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred 
• Experience in an Allergy & Immunology clinic or similar specialty 
• Knowledge of allergy skin testing (scratch/prick and intradermal testing) 
• Experience administering allergy immunotherapy injections
• Knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
