Description

Role Overview:
We are seeking an Automation Engineer to ensure quality, reliability, and release readiness across APIs, FHIR workflows, and AI-consumable service interfaces. You will play a vital role in building and maintaining automated test suites and validating interoperability in a fast-paced healthcare technology environment. 

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain automated API test suites covering functional, regression, integration, and negative-path scenarios.
  • Validate FHIR-based APIs, payload conformance, mapping accuracy, and interoperability workflows.
  • Develop test coverage for MCP-related wrappers and AI-facing service contracts to ensure predictable and secure behavior.
  • Execute performance, reliability, and edge-case testing across backend services.
  • Partner with engineering teams to improve testability, defect prevention, and release quality.
  • Manage test environments, test data strategies, and quality reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2-4 years of QA or test automation experience focused on APIs or backend systems.
  • Hands-on experience with API testing tools, automation frameworks, and integration testing methodologies.
  • Ability to validate JSON payloads, schemas, authentication flows, and service contracts.
  • Experience testing cloud-hosted applications; exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with FHIR testing or healthcare interoperability testing is strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective collaboration abilities.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience with performance testing and contract testing frameworks.
  • Exposure to AI-enablement workflows, tool interfaces, or MCP-style service testing.

Salary Description
$90,000.00 - $100,000.00
