This position may be based in one of our Northern Virginia office locations, with the understanding that a significant portion of the work will be connected to our Leesburg office.

Responsibilities:
• Represent clients in a wide range of civil litigation matters in Virginia state court
• Handle all aspects of civil litigation from inception through resolution
• Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, and discovery
• Develop case strategies through legal research and analysis
• Regularly appear in court and participate in hearings, motions, depositions, and trials
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
• Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to ensure a cohesive approach to client service
• Meet billable hour expectations in line with firm standards

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Virginia, in good standing
• Minimum of 3 years of civil litigation experience required
• Demonstrated ability to manage a caseload independently
• Strong analytical, writing, negotiation, and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
