Job Overview:

At Ledge, we believe outdoor spaces are not just extensions of the home—they're living works of art. As pioneers in the premium in-pool and poolside product design space, our mission is simple yet powerful: to help our customers manifest their identity by elevating their approach to outdoor living.

The Master Scheduler is responsible for translating demand signals, open orders, and operational inputs into a clear, executable production schedule. This role ensures alignment across Operations, Sales, and Supply Chain by proactively identifying constraints, balancing capacity, and driving disciplined execution. Operating in a non-MRP environment, the Master Scheduler plays a critical role in building scalable scheduling processes, improving throughput, and ensuring on-time delivery across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Production Scheduling Ownership: Develop, maintain, and continuously refine the master production schedule using open orders, work logs, and capacity inputs.
  2. Demand Translation & Planning: Convert demand forecasts and sales orders into a feasible, leveled production plan across machines and resources.
  3. Capacity & Constraint Management: Proactively identify bottlenecks, material constraints, and resource limitations; escalate risks and recommend solutions.
  4. Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner closely with Operations, Sales, and Supply Chain to ensure daily execution aligns with the production plan and business priorities.
  5. Execution Support & Adjustment: Monitor schedule adherence and make real-time adjustments to maintain throughput and delivery commitments.
  6. Process Improvement & Tool Development: Build and continuously improve scheduling processes, tools, and standards to drive efficiency and scalability in a non-MRP environment.

What Success Looks Like:

  • Production schedules are clear, realistic, and consistently executed, achieving =95% schedule attainment
  • On-time, in-full (OTIF) performance meets or exceeds targets, supporting customer satisfaction and revenue goals
  • Capacity is balanced and optimized, minimizing bottlenecks and avoiding resource overload
  • “Fire drills” and last-minute schedule changes are significantly reduced through proactive planning
  • Lead times are predictable and improving, with strong alignment between planned vs. actual execution
  • Cross-functional teams are aligned, with clear communication and fewer conflicts between Sales and Operations
  • Scheduling processes become more standardized, scalable, and data-driven over time

Requirements
  • 3–7+ years in production planning, scheduling, supply chain, or operations within a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in a non-MRP or evolving systems environment strongly preferred
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and data analysis (capacity planning, demand inputs, variance analysis)
  • Experience working with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and/or BI tools (Power BI is a plus)
  • Solid understanding of production processes, capacity planning, and resource leveling
  • Experience managing constraints, lead times, and throughput in a manufacturing setting

At Ledge, we value diversity and inclusion and are committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all individuals. We offer a competitive salary, benefits package, and the opportunity to work with a dynamic team in a positive and supportive work environment.
