The Raritan Bay Area YMCA is seeking a Kids Theatre Instructor to lead interactive theatre classes that foster creativity, self-expression, and confidence. Classes are held on Tuesdays from 6pm to 7pm in scheduled sessions.

Role Summary:

The Kids Theatre Instructor will guide participants through creative theatre experiences, encouraging imagination, storytelling, and performance skills in a fun and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate theatre and movement lessons 
• Maintain a safe, positive, and structured classroom environment 
• Communicate student progress with parents and staff

• Minimum 18 years of age
• Experience teaching theatre, performing arts, or creative movement to children 
• Knowledge of theatre fundamentals, creative movement, and age-appropriate activities 
• CPR/AED certified or willing to obtain
