Operator
Description
  • The Operator is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the equipment used to create printed labeling on our product chassis and name plates.
  • Machine operation and process using system software.
  • Verify job order information ensuring machine is set to correct parameters for job.
  • Troubleshoot various pieces of equipment when issues arise
  • Performs operation, setup, and product changeover on machine
  • Able to perform visual inspections of printed parts
  • Able to maintain accurate job tracking records
  • Knowledgeable of manufacturing instructions
  • Hands on problem solving, reading/preparing work instructions.
  • Perform all levels of preventive maintenance of EDI Printer.
  • Occasionally change out ink cartridges.
  • Other duties assigned as required

Requirements

Education: High school diploma or GED


Skills & Experience

  • Knowledge of printer machines.
  • Focus on Quality Control
  • Safety management mindset
  • Dexterity and hand-eye coordination, including the ability to grasp, manipulate, and assemble parts and components that are often very small
  • Able to identify electronic components, polarities, and location designators.
  • Ability to stand for 8 or more hours in a day
  • Ability to lift up, lean over and set up to 50lbs in material
  • Ability to lift, lean, stoop, bend, and squat
  • Understanding of Bill of Materials & Drawings.
  • Reliable attendance, attention to detail, and organizational skills
