Your Mission: 

Under direct supervision, the Intern will support various operational and engineering functions by executing tasks related to process mapping, reporting, schedule updates, and other items/tasks as assigned.


Explore the Depth of the Role: 

  • Assist with process mapping across manufacturing workflows and operations.
  • Generate and maintain reports to support production and planning teams.
  • Update manual schedules for operational visibility and alignment.
  • Support the development, deployment, and ongoing management of an interim scheduling process to cover current system gaps (IFS Scheduling).
  • Participate in other department initiatives or projects.
  • All other duties assigned.
Requirements

  

Mission Readiness:

  • Currently enrolled in an Engineering or related technical program from an accredited college, university or technical school.
  • Academic focus in Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
  • Completing relevant coursework in systems, processes, or CAD is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
  • Familiarity with Excel and data entry/reporting tools.
  • Willingness to learn new systems and processes quickly.
  • Comfortable collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Physical Requirements: 

  • May be required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop or kneel regularly.
  • Lift up to 25 pounds independently.
