Your Mission:
Under direct supervision, the Intern will support various operational and engineering functions by executing tasks related to process mapping, reporting, schedule updates, and other items/tasks as assigned.
Explore the Depth of the Role:
- Assist with process mapping across manufacturing workflows and operations.
- Generate and maintain reports to support production and planning teams.
- Update manual schedules for operational visibility and alignment.
- Support the development, deployment, and ongoing management of an interim scheduling process to cover current system gaps (IFS Scheduling).
- Participate in other department initiatives or projects.
- All other duties assigned.
Mission Readiness:
- Currently enrolled in an Engineering or related technical program from an accredited college, university or technical school.
- Academic focus in Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- Completing relevant coursework in systems, processes, or CAD is a plus.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- Familiarity with Excel and data entry/reporting tools.
- Willingness to learn new systems and processes quickly.
- Comfortable collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Physical Requirements:
- May be required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop or kneel regularly.
- Lift up to 25 pounds independently.
